His father Simon started the first ever Mexican grocery store in the Inland Northwest in 1999. It has steadily grown into a full service restaurant, grocery store that offers Mexican products and now bakery that includes authentic Mexican pan dulces (sweets). "We have been working on getting our bakery in place for several years and we are proud it's finally here," said Omar Garcia.

The taqueria is known for it's giant burritos and great lunch specials. Omar says you'll never leave the restaurant hungry. "We give a great value that's why we've been able to maintain and grow our business. La Michoacana is the most authentic Mexican food you'll get in the region," says Garcia.
